Black Bear Season 2025 Week 2
Our second week of Spring Black Bear started off with a bang, or, more accurately, a twang twang. Both Chris and Kevin downed nice black bears on Monday night with crossbows setting the bar high for the rest of the hunt group.
Frank Sr. had a few cinnamon colored bears to choose from and ended up taking a beautifully colored bear on day three. Hunters were reporting good to excellent shooting opportunities throughout the week.
Johnny and Frank Jr both reported a good number of bears within range for their recurve bow and long bow weapons but neither ended up with a trophy bear this season.
We have excellent bears hitting the baits at the trail cams on a regular basis and we expect some more great hunting success next week.
